5 Minute Cilantro Lime Crema (Lightened up!)

This Cilantro Lime Crema is hands-down one of my favorite sauces to date!! It’s the perfect blend of cilantro, lime and fresh flavor all combined with a creamy and smooth texture. You just can’t beat it!!

This sauce is seriously perfect to drip your tacos in, as a salad dressing, great for wraps and just about anything else you can think of! Plus it’s super light and only 30 calories per serving so you don’t have to worry about skimping on anything.

This dressing is so easy to make and I promise you might have most of the ingredients already in your fridge. Whip this sauce together in less than 5 minutes and I promise you’ll be so glad to have this as a flavor maker all week! It can also easily be made dairy-free, just swap out the plain nonfat Greek yogurt for a dairy-free option!

INGREDIENTS

  • Greek Yogurt – I used plain nonfat Greek yogurt. Feel free to sub for a dairy-free Greek yogurt if needed
  • Mayonnaise – I used light mayo for this!
  • Cilantro
  • Lime juice – fresh is best!
  • Honey
  • Seasonings I used garlic powder, onion powder and salt.

HOW TO MAKE

  1. Add all of the cilantro lime sauce ingredients to a food process or blender and blend until combined.
  2. Taste and add any additional salt, garlic powder, honey, etc., as needed.

Store covered in the fridge until ready to use.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt (120g) - sub for dairy-free Greek yogurt if needed
  • 1/4 cup light mayo (60g)
  • 1/2 heaping cup chopped cilantro (14g)
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice (30g)
  • 1 tsp honey (7g), or to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Add all of the cilantro lime sauce ingredients to a food processor or blender and blend until combined.
