- Gluten-free: Use gluten-free chicken nuggets and tortillas.
How To Make
The full printable recipe is below, but let me walk you through the process so you know what to expect when you’re making it!

1. Wash the romaine lettuce and set out on dish towels to dry. Air fry the chicken at 390 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until crispy.

2. Let cool for a few minutes when done then slice chicken into smaller pieces.

3. Meanwhile, make the caesar dressing. Add the mayo, dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper to a medium bowl. Whisk to combine.

4. Slowly pour the olive oil in, whisking vigorously as you add, and until fully blended in. Whisk in the parmesan.

5. Dry romaine really well then chop finely or shred. Add to a bowl and toss with 1/4 cup caesar dressing. Add the parmesan and chicken and toss again.

6. Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and place on a plate. Microwave for 30 seconds. Lay both tortillas out. Divide chicken caesar mixture between the two. Fold the sides, then roll up tightly like a burrito. Serve with remaining caesar dressing if desired and enjoy!
I recommend prepping the chicken and mix the caesar dressing together beforehand and assembling the wraps when you are ready to eat. If you want to prep the wraps in advance, just note the romaine won’t be as crunchy.
Or, you can add the chicken, romaine and cheese to the wraps and just dip in the homemade caesar dressing if you want to prep them in advance! I love these little 2oz disposable cups for traveling with dressings and sauces.
Helpful Tips
- Whisk dressing well: It’s important to whisk vigorously to get the dressing thick! Or you can always use an immersion blender or throw in a blender!
- Soft tortillas: Make sure to use soft tortillas so they will wrap well without cracking. If you need to, you can cover tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave for a few seconds to soften them before wrapping.
- Toast wraps: If you want to really elevate these wraps, you can toast the sides of the tortilla in a frying pan for a few minutes to get them nice and crispy!
- Chicken tenders: You can easily use breaded chicken tenders for these wraps! Just chop them into smaller pieces after air fryer before adding to your wrap ingredients.

Can I use a different type of chicken for these chicken caesar salad wraps?
Yes, you can use any type of crispy chicken strips or cooked chicken for these wraps! I always grab the frozen lightly breaded chunks for convenience but you can also use homemade chicken if you have some. If using chicken strips, just be sure to chop them into bite-sized pieces. These panko chicken nuggets would be great or you can also use rotisserie chicken, grilled chicken or any other leftover chicken you have on hand.
How do I prep these wrap in advance?
I don’t recommend assembling these wraps until ready to eat or the lettuce might get soggy. If you need to prep in advance, you can build you wrap without dressing and just dip the wrap in the dressing on the side. Or you can prep the chicken and dressing so assembly is super quick when ready to eat.
Can I use store-bought dressing for this chicken caesar wrap recipe?
This homemade dressing is so good and easy to make but of course you can grab your favorite store-bought caesar salad dressing if desired!
