How do I store leftover cheesy bean dip?

Let bean dip come to room temperature. Then store leftover bean dip in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Give it a good stir while reheating if it starts to get a little bit liquidy.

Can I serve this bean dip cold?

Yes you can serve this bean dip cold or hot! To serve cold bean dip, cook as instructed them refrigerate once it has come to room temperature. To serve as warm bean dip, serve from oven or reheat in microwave or oven after initial cooking.

Is this a healthy dip?

Yes! This dip is one of my favorite recipes because it has a great balances of carbs, fats and protein! It also has lots of healthy fiber from the pinto beans (refried beans). This dip has 9g of protein per serving which is awesome for a dip/appetizer recipe.

Can I use homemade refried beans?

Of course! I used canned refried beans to make this recipe super easy and quick to prep but if you want to make your own refried beans they will work wonderfully!
