About This Recipe
This recipe is all about maximum flavor with minimal effort. Tender, flaky salmon gets brushed with a sweet-tangy honey mustard glaze, while the broccoli roasts until perfectly crisp-tender.
I love sheet pan dinners because everything cooks fast, using just one pan, and feels fancy without being fussy or messy. Plus, minimal clean up!

Why You’ll Love This Honey Mustard Salmon and Broccoli
- Quick and easy: A feel-good weeknight dinner that’s ready in under 30 minutes!
- Hands-off: Throw everything onto one sheet pan and ENJOY!
- Healthy: Packed with rich omega-3 (salmon) and fiber (broccoli)!
- Family-friendly: Everyone will love this one! Even my toddler ate it right up!
- Salmon lovers: A balanced meal that is also naturally gluten-free & dairy-free and perfect for any salmon lovers!

- Broccoli: Cut your raw broccoli into small florets. You can also use broccolini or cauliflower if that’s what you have on hand.
- Olive oil: Avocado oil or your favorite cooking oil (or butter) also work.
- Honey: You can also use maple syrup if you prefer.
- Dijon mustard: Dijon mustard will give the smoothest glaze, but you can also use stone-ground.
- Atlantic salmon: Wild salmon or farm-raised both work! I used skinless salmon fillets, but you can use the kind with the skin on, too. If your salmon is frozen, be sure to thaw before using.
- Sockeye salmon: Sockeye or coho salmon also work great. Just note, some of the thinner and less fatty varieties (coho, sockeye, etc.) might not take as long to cook so cooking times will vary.
- Spicy: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a little sriracha to the glaze.
- Extra veggies: Toss in asparagus, green beans, red onion, or cherry tomatoes alongside the broccoli.
- Swap the protein: This glaze also works well with chicken breasts or pork tenderloin (adjust cook time accordingly).
How To Make
The full printable recipe is below, but let me walk you through the process so you know what to expect when you’re making it!

1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F and grease a large baking sheet. Add the broccoli and toss with the olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

2. Spread into an even layer and roast for 12–15 minutes, tossing halfway through, until tender.

3. In a small bowl, stir together the honey and Dijon.

4. Turn the oven to broil (550℉) and position a rack about 6 inches from the top. Lightly grease a sheet pan or line it with foil (you can reuse the broccoli pan once it’s out of the oven). Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper. Arrange on the sheet pan. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the honey-mustard mixture over the top of the salmon, brushing it over the tops and sides.

5. Broil for 7–9 minutes, brushing with a little more glaze halfway through, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

6. Serve the salmon with the roasted broccoli, drizzle with extra honey mustard if you’d like, and enjoy!
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat gently in the air fryer or in a skillet over low heat to avoid drying out the salmon.
Helpful Tips
🍣Dry salmon: Patting the salmon dry helps the honey mustard sauce stick better and improves texture.
⏰Adjust cooking time: Thicker salmon fillets may need an extra minute under the broiler
🔥Don’t overcook: Keep an eye on the salmon while broiling, it cooks fast! You don’t want overcooked salmon🙅♀️
🥦Cut evenly: Cut broccoli into similar-sized florets so everything roasts evenly.

Can I make this salmon recipe ahead of time?
This sheet pan salmon and broccoli will taste the absolute best fresh, but leftovers do reheat well for meal prep lunches.
Can I use frozen salmon?
Yes. To use frozen salmon fillet, thaw the salmon filet completely and pat it dry before cooking.
How do I know when my salmon is done?
The salmon is done when it easily flakes with a fork. Or you can use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature (The USDA recommended minimum internal temperature for salmon is 145°F).
What should I serve with this?
You can enjoy this meal on its own or serve it with rice, quinoa, or roasted potatoes.
