This Pumpkin Simple Syrup will instantly turn any recipe into a cozy, fall-inspired drink. Made with real pumpkin purée, warm cinnamon, and just the right amount of sweetness, it’s so much better than store-bought and takes only a few minutes on the stove.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree (250g)
  • 1.5 cup granulated sugar (300g)
  • 1.25 cups water (300g)
  • Dash of cinnamon

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and heat until boiling.
  • Lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Then remove from heat and let cool.
  • Transfer to a bottle or container and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 10 days. You can also freeze in silicone cubes for longer storage.
