This Strawberry Mousse is a light, airy dessert that’s bursting with fresh strawberry flavor. Made with just 3 simple ingredients and no baking required, it’s the perfect treat for spring and summer.
***Place the Kitchenaid bowl (or whatever mixing bowl you’ll use for whipping the cream) into the freezer 30 minutes before starting to get it nice and chilled.**
Add strawberries and sugar to a food processor or blender.
Blend into a puree. Reserve 1/2 cup and set aside.
Add heavy whipping cream to the chilled mixing bowl. Start on low, gradually increasing to high and beat until a stiff peak forms.
Gently fold in the remaining strawberry puree.
Take the 1/2 cup reserved puree and divide between four glasses/containers, spreading along the bottom. Top with the strawberry mousse. Place in the fridge to chill for 1-2 hours or longer.
Top with sliced strawberries when ready to serve, if desired, and enjoy!
Notes
*after cleaning, dry strawberries well before adding to the blender (to avoid adding extra water)
