This easy Refried Bean Dip is super tasty and easy to make! It's a great vegetarian, gluten-free appetizer or snack option that will be a hit at your next party. Plus, it only requires 7 simple ingredients and 5 minutes of prep!

Ingredients

  • 4 oz reduced fat cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup 2% plain Greek yogurt (227g)
  • 1 (16oz) can refried beans
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 3/4 cup Mexican shredded cheese (84g)
  • Sliced green onions to garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 8x8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Add cream cheese to a medium bowl and beat with a hand mixer until smooth. Add yogurt, refried beans and the taco seasoning mix and beat until combined. Then stir in the salsa.
  • Transfer to the prepared dish and sprinkle evenly with the cheese.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Broil for 1-2 minutes at the end if desired.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions (or toppings of choice) and serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

To make vegan bean dip: use dairy-free cream cheese, greek yogurt and shredded cheese.
