This Whipped Feta is seriously one of the best, easiest, most addictive spreads ever! It's creamy, cheesy, tangy, and ready in 5 minutes. And did I mention it's protein packed and low in fat? Sharing 10 of my favorite whipped feta toast combinations in this post!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. fat free feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt (120g)
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp olive oil (5g)
  • Sourdough bread or other bread of choice
  • Toppings of choice see below in the notes or above (in the blog post) for different topping ideas/combos!

Instructions

  • In a food processor or high-powered blender, combine the feta, yogurt, garlic and olive oil until the cheeses are well combined and smooth.
  • Scoop cheese out of the food processor and store in an airtight container.
  • When ready to eat, toast your favorite bread; spread the whipped feta on toast, add toppings as you see fit, and enjoy!

Notes

To make dairy-free: use dairy-free feta cheese and dairy-free yogurt.

Whipped Feta Toast Topping Ideas

  1. Marinated tomatoes + basil + balsamic glaze
  2. Granny Smith apple + crushed pecans + honey
  3. Honey (or hot honey) + Everything But the Bagel seasoning
  4. Hot pepper jelly – underrated but possibly my favorite
  5. Grilled peaches (or just sliced peaches!) + balsamic glaze
  6. Sliced avocado + Everything But The Bagel seasoning
  7. Grilled chicken + sliced tomatoes + balsamic glaze
  8. Prosciutto + basil + fresh cracked black pepper
  9. Over easy egg +  Everything But The Bagel seasoning
  10. Sliced strawberries + balsamic glaze or honey + chia seeds
