Ingredients

  • 18 oz. wild Atlantic salmon cut into 3 oz. filets
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 Tbsp honey (42g)
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Place salmon fillets in a large resealable Ziplock bag and pour marinade over. Squeeze as much air out as possible and seal the bag. Gently move fillets around inside the bag to make sure they are all evenly coated. Place flesh side down and let marinate for 10-15 minutes in the fridge.
  • Spray a large nonstick or cast iron skillet with coking spray and set to medium heat. Add oil, then place salmon fillets flesh side down and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Notes

If your skillet is not large enough, cook the salmon in two batches. If you overcrowd the skillet, cooking time will be longer.
