These BBQ Chicken Shells & Cheese Bowls are easy, flavor-packed and perfect for meal prep. They combine tender shredded BBQ chicken with creamy, cheesy pasta shells and fiber-rich broccoli for a comforting meal that’s perfect for meal prep or a quick weeknight dinner.
1/2tspeach salt, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder

1tspolive oil (5g)
12oz.shells & cheeseI used Velveeta
12oz.frozen steamable broccoli florets
1/4cupBBQ sauce (60g)I used Stubb’s
Instructions
Chicken: Cut chicken into small bite size (about 1/2-inch) pieces. Add to a bowl or ziploc bag along with brown sugar, salt and all the spices. Toss well to evenly coat the chicken.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil and once shiny, add the chicken. Cook for 3-4 minutes undisturbed, then toss/flip; cook for another 3-4 minutes or until cooked through.
Remove from heat.
Broccoli: Heat in microwave according to package directions.
Shells & Cheese: Add water to a saucepan or pot and bring to a boil. Add the shell pasta and cook to al dente according to package directions. Drain (but do not rinse). Stir in the cheese sauce. Salt and pepper to taste.
Build bowls: Divide the shells and cheese, chicken bites and broccoli between four bowls/containers. Add the BBQ sauce over the chicken or add later when ready to eat and enjoy!
Notes
Store bowls in airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
