Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (240g) or any milk of choice
  • 1 medium frozen banana (120g) sliced - the ripper, the sweeter!
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (120g)
  • 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder (30g)

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a food processor or high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
  • Taste and add any sweetener if needed to make it more sweet (I like using a few drops of liquid stevia). Add additional milk to make it thinner or extra ice or frozen berries to make it thicker.

Notes

To make this recipe dairy-free: use a dairy-free greek yogurt and ensure milk is dairy-free (almond, oat, cashew, soy, etc.)
To make this recipe vegan: use a plant-based, dairy-free, vegan protein powder, like this if needed.
You can use fresh berries for this recipe if you prefer. The frozen berries are easy and convenient. They also help create the smooth, thick texture without having to add as much ice. If using fresh berries, I would just add a little more ice to make sure it's cold.
If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add your preferred choice of additional sweetener (liquid stevia, granular sweetener, honey, agave, etc.)
