Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp butter 15g
  • 1/2 cup onion finely chopped (60g)
  • 1/4 cup celery finely chopped (30g)
  • 5 slices stale bread cut into small cubes (140g) - about 5 cups
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries 40g - I used reduced-sugar
  • 1 Tbsp fresh sage or 1 tsp dried
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 large eggs beaten

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan and set to medium heat. Add the onion and celery and cook until tender, about 5-6 minutes.
  • To a large bowl, add the onion and celery, bread cubes, sage, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper and beaten eggs.  Mix everything together very well with a wooden spoon and then form into balls with your hands. Add stuffing balls to the fridge for 15-30 minutes (this will help them stay firm and together).
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F.
  • Remove stuffing balls from the refrigerator. Spray air fryer with cooking spray. Place the stuffing balls in the air fryer so they are not touching and spray all over with cooking spray. Air fry for 7-8 minutes, flipping halfway through. Serve warm.
