These Honey Roasted Peanuts are such a fun snack that are easy to make and are perfect for an afternoon snack plate or on top of my yogurt bowls! They're salty, sweet and a great source of healthy fats!
Saltto taste - my peanuts were already lightly salted so I just added a pinch, but if you're using plain peanuts, I'd add 1-2 tsp to elevate the other flavors!
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Add the butter and honey to a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until butter has melted.
Then, stir in the peanuts and cinnamon.
Transfer the peanuts to a baking sheet and spread out in a single layer.
Roast for 15-20 minutes (or until golden brown), tossing 2-3 times through to ensure even roasting. Let peanuts cool for 5 minutes then toss with sweetener and salt to taste. Make sure to stir your peanuts a few times as they cool so they don't clump together.
Store in an airtight jar or container at room temperature for up to two weeks.
