This Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Protein Cake is THE most popular recipe from my very first cookbook - All Things Sweets! At 105 calories per slice (and with 9g of protein each!), it's ridiculously easy to make is the PERFECT combination of peanut butter, chocolate, and fluffy cake! 😍👏🏼

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 90g
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 31g
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter powder 32g - I used PBfit
  • 1/4 cup granular sweetener 42g - I used Swerve
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt 112g
  • 1/2 cup egg whites 120g
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk 120g
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp mini chocolate chips 45g

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.
  • In a medium-size bowl, add the dry ingredients and whisk well to combine.
  • Add in the wet ingredients and mix to until everything is mixed thoroughly (I used a hand mixer for this). Then stir in 2 Tbsp of the mini chocolate chips.
  • Pour batter into the dish. Sprinkle with remaining tablespoon of chocolate chips.
  • Bake for about 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Once done, take out and let cool before slicing. Enjoy!

Notes

Keep stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
*It's okay to use normal vanilla extract, the color just might not turn out the same.
