Made with just 4 easy ingredients, this gravy is perfect for enjoying with my homemade biscuits, hash browns, toast, or even mashed potatoes.

To make, add the sausage to a greased skillet.

Cook over medium heat, breaking into crumbles with a meat masher, until fully cooked.

Sprinkle the flour and sage over top. Stir until all the meat is coated and you see no flour. Cook for 1-2 more minutes.

Gradually add one cup of milk while mixing everything thoroughly, then incorporate the second cup of milk.

Season generously with salt and fresh ground pepper and continue to stir frequently until thickened. Then remove from heat.
