These chocolate covered peanut butter stuffed dates are made with only 5 simple ingredients and make the perfect pre-workout snack or after-lunch dessert.

To make, use a sharp knife to cut a slit into each date along the long side, leaving one side attached, and remove the pit.

Add 1/2 teaspoon peanut butter to each date. Smear on both sides of the inside of the date.

Then add about 1 teaspoon chopped peanuts to each date.

Close the date and stick a toothpick through the middle so it stays together.

Add chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at 70% power, in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until melted.

Dip each date into the melted chocolate.
