This Healthy Green Bean Casserole Without Mushroom Soup is a fresher, lightened up take on the classic Thanksgiving dinner recipe. Easy to make gluten-free and vegan too!

Step 1: Make the crispy onions Toss onions with olive oil, panko, flour and salt. Bake for 25 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare the Green Beans Boil fresh green beans for 7-9 minutes, or until tender. Rinse with cold water.

Step 3: Cook Mushrooms Cook mushrooms in large pan with olive oil for 7-9 minutes, or until tender.

Step 4: Make the Sauce Add flour and milk to mushrooms. Let it simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in the mayo, dijon, balsamic glaze, ranch seasoning mix, salt and pepper.

Step 5: Combine and Bake Spread 1/3 of sauce into dish. Layer with the green beans and remaining sauce. Sprinkle the cheese and onion topping and bake for 10-15 minutes.
