This healthy cranberry sauce is the perfect addition to your holiday table.

It's bursting with tangy cranberries and subtly sweetened with honey instead of refined sugar.

It's quick, easy to make and is delicious served as a Thanksgiving side or on top of oatmeal or leftover turkey sandwiches!

To make, place the cranberries in a strainer and rinse them thoroughly. Allow them to drain completely.

Combine the cranberries, honey, and water in a medium saucepan.

Heat until it boils, then lower the heat. Keep stirring until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens up like jam.

Remove from heat and stir in the orange zest, cinnamon and salt.

Give it a taste and if it’s still too tart for your taste, you can mix in more honey or 1/8 tsp baking soda to help mellow the tartness.

Transfer to a jar and store in the fridge until ready to enjoy. Cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools.
