To make, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a muffin pan with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin, applesauce, coconut oil, eggs and vanilla.

In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, salt and baking soda.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.

Mix until combined.

Then fold in the chocolate chips.
