Chocolate Chip Protein French Toast Bake

This Chocolate Chip Protein French Toast Bake is protein packed, lightened up, fluffy, french toast with melty, gooey chocolate in each bite!!

This bake is perfect for weekend brunch and ALSO fabulous for meal prep!

To make, spray a 9×13" baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Arrange the bread in a single layer in the baking dish.

Sprinkle 2 Tbsp (30g) of the chocolate chips, them add the remaining bread on top.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg whites, milk, protein powder, syrup, vanilla extract, almond extract, cinnamon and liquid stevia.

Pour the egg mixture over the bread in the baking dish, spreading it around to the liquid saturates the bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Uncover the baking dish, sprinkle with the remaining chocolate chops and brown sugar and bake for 35-45 minutes or until baked through.

Serve warm, drizzled with more pancake syrup! This french toast bake is also DELICIOUS chilled!
