Macro Friendly Triple Chocolate Donuts

Ginormous and only 106 calories of pure chocolate on chocolate donut bliss!

I just recently ordered a donut pan off of amazon. And to be honest, I don’t think there’s any turning back now. I already want everything in a donut form…

I basically utilized the same basic ingredients I use for most of my recipes (hello pumpkin) for these as well.

These were amazing. I’m not sure if you could exactly call them “cake” donuts, but they were definitely closer to that texture than to yeast donuts.

Regardless, they were soft, moist, chocolatey, delicious, and SO BIG. It was the size of two donuts in one. Basically a double-stacker donut in itself.

These are already a favorite of mine and will definitely be on repeat!!

Triple Chocolate Donuts

Triple Chocolate Donuts

Ginormous and only 106 calories of pure chocolate on chocolate donut bliss!

Ingredients

Chocolate Donuts

  • ¼ cup all purpose flour (30g)
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (32g) - I used Pescience frosted chocolate cupcake)
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened dark cocoa powder (15g)
  • 2 tbsp zero calorie sweetener
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ⅓ cup liquid egg whites (92g)
  • ¾ cup canned pumpkin (180g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F and spray a donut pan with cooking spray.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl until combined.
  3. Add in wet ingredients and blend until smooth.
  4. Fill donut pan evenly and bake for 12-15 minutes. Make sure not overcook or they will come out more dry.
  5. Let cool and enjoy.

  1. I am gonna make these today to get me through the holiday. Question. Do you ice al the donuts or pull icing out of freezer as needed?
